This summer I went to Senegal with my family. I left Spain on the 30th June. I arrived in Madrid, and I met Bojan, a Barça footballer, with his girlfriend. We talked about football and he told us that he left Barça. Now he is in Italy. We took the same flight to Senegal. He was going on holidays.
When we arrived the smell was very different, it was hot.
Nothing was like in Spain. The first week was vey strange because if you are thirsty you have to go to the well, however in Spain is completely different, because there, if we are thirsty we go to the kitchen and drink some water from the tap. Food is different too.
In a normal day, people get up at 6 o'clock to prepare lunch and then go to the vegetable garden and spend all morning working with the animals. Some women cook lunch and then clean.
That was surprising because I'm not used to it. One day I went to the well with my aunt and I tried to bring the water on my head and I understood that it's not easy because you have to get balanced.
Now I'm going to explain my last day in my grandparent's village.
I got up at 6 o'clock and I went with my aunt to the forest and we wilked cows. Then we went to the well, like every day, we cooked lunch and in the afternoon we went for a walk. We saw the sunset. It was a magnific day!
I think that the best thing was to see my grandmother's
smile.
I would like to go again next year. And that's a little sum
mary of my trip to Senegal.
